You can now bring your IT/OT networks to terms with each other. While your many IoT sensors and devices thrive on a specialized Operational Technology (OT) network, your business counts on high-performance IT networking for mission-critical applications, such as real-time analytics and 4K video conferencing. You need both sets of infrastructure, but the cost of maintaining them separately is too high. The operational complexity is a management challenge. You can end this fragmentation. IT/OT convergence breaks down data silos to speed enterprise innovation. A united network enables real-time insights and speeds the rollout of new tools that need unified data.

Browan Communications unites your network architecture on a centralized platform: the new Prism Wi-Fi 7 series of Access Points (AP). Browan engineered the new Prism Wi-Fi 7 APs to combine high-performance routing with multi-protocol IoT gateway functions. Imagine the results: a warehouse where autonomous vehicles maintain persistent connections, a production line where sensors report with clarity, and a conference room where 4K video calls are stable, all managed on one network. Such capabilities are paramount to your future business and its burgeoning IoT inventory: The number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices worldwide could double from 19.8 billion in 2025 to more than 40.6 billion by 2034.

Enterprise infrastructure is about deploying one intelligent network for IT/OT unification. The Browan Prism Wi-Fi 7 series is that network. This consolidated platform offers Wi-Fi 7 and integrated multi-protocol IoT radios for visibility and control of your digital ecosystem.

This platform eases deployment, reduces capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expenses (OPEX), and lets you correlate data across your IT and OT assets and infrastructure. This cohesion propels innovation and operational excellence, clarity, and performance. Welcome to the Prism.

Wi-Fi 7 Router Specifications

The new Prism series uses the IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard, delivering the speed, capacity and reliability for the next decade of connectivity. The new Prism series includes indoor and outdoor configurations designed for your individualized environments and use cases. The MI20 Indoor BE18000 is your high-density indoor AP for maximum throughput. Browan created the MI20 for large-scale deployments in business atriums, campuses, and concert halls. The MI21 Indoor BE9400 AP excels in mission-critical, speed-centric environments. It serves high-density environments like offices, hotels, and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) where mission-critical speed is non-negotiable, and advanced security features like Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK) and Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) segmentation keep tenant and IoT traffic secure yet distinct, even when sharing the same network infrastructure.

The MO20 Outdoor BE9400 is a robust AP built for endurance and range. With its external antennas and an IP68 rating, the MO20 suits extreme environments and long-distance needs like shipping yards and perimeter security. The MO21 Outdoor BE9400 is compact and aesthetically pleasing for general outdoor use. It’s ideal for generic outdoor and semi-outdoor uses where compact size and elegance matter, such as cafes and public plazas.

Browan’s Wi-Fi 7 devices leverage 320 MHz channels, 4K-QAM, and Multi-Link Operation to deliver speeds up to 9.4 Gbps with greater reliability and responsiveness. Integrated advanced location technology enables precise point-to-point distance measurement. The capability invites innovative use cases, such as connecting to a display for presentations when approaching a Wi-Fi-enabled server.

To accelerate innovation in long-range IoT connectivity, Browan has partnered with Morse Micro to develop Wi-Fi HaLow solutions powered by the cutting-edge MM8108 chip. This collaboration aims to bring more competitive IoT products that deliver extended range and robust throughput, fueling the growth of intelligent IoT 2.0 applications across industries like smart cities, industrial automation, and connected homes.

The Dual-Purpose Router and IoT Gateway

The Prism series embodies true innovation in its dual nature, acting as a high-performance Wi-Fi 7 router and a robust IoT gateway, eliminating the need for separate hardware. These devices support the Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN), Zigbee, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi IoT protocols natively. It lets you onboard any sensor or device onto a single, managed platform immediately upon deployment.

Reflecting Browan’s dedication to global standards, the Indoor PicoNext Gateway has achieved EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU certification, and certification to its amendment (EU 2022/2380), meeting strict requirements for user safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and spectrum efficiency. This accomplishment marks Browan’s products as ready for safe, compliant deployment throughout the European Economic Area. It gives partners and customers confidence in both international regulatory approval and dependable engineering. Other Browan products will continue on the EU RED certification path.

The Prism series outdoor models MO20 and MO21 are capable of managing warehouse automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous robots, and scanners, while extending converged IT/OT network coverage to outdoor logistics areas, parking security, and environmental monitoring. The indoor models MI20 and MI21 are designed to handle high-density environments, such as campus lecture halls or commercial stores, while collecting live analytics from Bluetooth beacons. The Wi-Fi 7 indoor access points support high-bandwidth office tasks, including videoconferences and file uploads, and manage hospitality guest services, multi-dwelling unit (MDU) tenant streaming, smart home devices, and production line automatic display connections, all from a single, unified network infrastructure.

The Prism Management Ecosystem

Powerful hardware requires intelligent software. Prism comes with a comprehensive, cloud-based network management system, the PrismX Controller, and a free pre-deployment planning tool, the Prism iDesign Heatmap. The PrismX Controller cloud portal provides enterprise-grade control and visibility over your entire global fleet of converged networks from a single dashboard, enabling monitoring and configuration of thousands of devices from a city-wide view down to a specific AP on a precise floor. It reduces management overhead by applying policies, updating firmware, and diagnosing issues centrally.

Enterprises and partners get free access to Prism’s iDesign Heatmap, which simplifies pre-deployment planning. Users can upload detailed floor plans, drag and drop virtual Prism APs, and generate predictive Wi-Fi coverage heatmaps, preventing costly post-installation troubleshooting. Distributors and resellers can create accurate, compelling network proposals during the sales process, demonstrating guaranteed coverage and performance to speed client buy-in and sales cycles.

The Prism Wi-Fi 7 series is ready for you, with general availability beginning in Q1 2026. It’s time to plan, design, and secure your infrastructure for the year ahead. We encourage distributors, resellers, and carriers to use the free Prism iDesign Heatmap to model deployments and build compelling proposals for your clients.
